About Travis Hubbard
Travis Hubbard is a dynamic, high-performance executive with a proven ability to build and lead a top-flight sales teams with an aggressive drive for results. He has broad industry experience with special expertise in category management, product development, SKU rationalization, ad planning and analysis, electronic marketing, and leadership. Mr. Hubbard is an entrepreneurial leader known for his ability to penetrate new markets, produce impressive sales results and grow market share and profitability.
Mr. Hubbard was formerly Vice President of Deli Merchandising and Procurement for Ahold USA. At this position, his responsibilities included all deli sales, merchandising, procurement and profitability, he provided strategic and tactical leadership for a team of 35 direct and indirect reports, and led a 14-person cross functional team including members from operations, finance, format, not for sale retail and retail execution.
Prior to Ahold USA, Mr. Hubbard was the Vice President of Fresh Foods Merchandising for Harris Teeter, Inc. where he was responsible for all Fresh Foods sales, merchandising and profitability. He led a team of 24 and was accountable for the planning and executing of company sales strategy, creating process improvements, and establishing a competitive market position. Prior to this role, he held the position of Director of Dairy/Frozen Merchandising.
Mr. Hubbard has held many different positions throughout his career at Harris Teeter, Inc., working his way up from a Store Manager to his role as Vice President of Fresh Foods Merchandising.
Mr. Hubbard served in the military for over 20 years, with 4 years in the Marine Corp Reserves and 16 years in the Army National Guard.
He has served as Chairman-Elect for NFRA, a national trade organization for Dairy and Frozen Foods, and currently sits on the board for Food Industry Serving Heroes, a non-profit organization focused on serving troops, veterans and their families.
