Dr. Ginny A. Baro is a certified executive coach, speaker, #1 bestselling author and leadership expert. For more than 25 years, Dr. Baro has worked in the financial services arena and technology field in the greater New York area before starting her company and her efforts to expand leaders’ influence, impact and overall well-being in business and in life.
Dr. Baro has more than two decades of leadership experience, mentoring and coaching business teams and now focuses on facilitating transformations in talented professionals, leaders and businesses. Dr. Baro currently is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Fearless Women @Work, a unique executive coaching and career strategy company that offers proven techniques and tactics to help talented professionals and leadership teams in finance and tech industries. Her company’s goals include: supporting talented professionals to have a greater impact, develop as leaders in business and life, move up the corporate ladder, reinvent their careers, and deal with the clash of career and major life transitions.
Prior to founding Fearless Women @Work, Dr. Baro spent the previous 16+ years holding Director roles with Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC. Her professional career began as a Programmer for Prudential, where she ascended to Systems Manager. She also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Alliance Bernstein. Throughout her career, Dr. Baro has built and led several high-performance technical and business teams, including software engineers, business analysts, business continuity specialists, project managers and product analytics analysts. She has communicated a clear vision, mentored and coached staff, collaborated with partners and networked across all levels and functions in the organization to achieve firm goals.
Dr. Baro is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) with experience coaching and mentoring teams and individuals to identify meaningful goals, roadblocks, and optimal solutions. Dr. Baro received her B.A., Computer Science, Economics and her M.B.A., Management from Rutgers University. She earned her Master of Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering and her Ph.D., Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
