Robin Bienfait is a global senior executive and board member with over 30 years of leadership experience in enterprise technology, mobility and security. She leveraged her C-level success driving transformation for AT&T, Blackberry and Samsung. Robin is presently the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Emnovate, an executive advisory firm that delivers enterprise-class services to any company wanting to grow their existing business or build a new business model. She is also the Chairman of Global Aviation and a Partner with Valor Ventures.
Robin has been selected to multiple public and private boards due to her collaborative entrepreneurial approach to strategy creation, consensus building, corporate governance and shareholder relations. Previously, Robin was a member of the Hewlett-Packard Advisory Board and the Cisco Strategic Advisory Board. Currently, Robin is a member of the Georgia Institute of Technology Board. She is also a Tiffany Circle Member of the American Red Cross.
Throughout her board leadership experience, Robin has helped execute the strategic build-outs of new business lines, shape the future of breakthrough products and align industry leading companies for highly profitable partnerships. Her specialties are in mobile innovation, software development, enterprise sales, operations, engineering, end-to-product security, global network services, business continuity, IT governance, disaster recovery, business development and compliance.
Among her signature career achievements, Robin launched the multi-million-dollar Samsung Business Services and successfully controlled a $9 billion P&L as BlackBerry’s Chief Information Officer. For most of her career, Robin held senior executive positions across AT&T, leading more than 30,000 employees and retiring as Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Network Services. She possesses a broad breadth of senior leadership experience, executing CEO, CIO and COO responsibilities across global business units. Her operational expertise spans P&L, strategic planning, vendor management, data analysis, business development and matrixed team leadership.
Robin is a global influencer with 15 patents. She is routinely tapped to present at national conferences, including the CIO Forum, Gartner and Forrester. She has received extensive exposure in Forbes, Fortune and The Wall Street Journal. Robin was recently named one of the Top 100 CIOs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
Currently residing in Atlanta, Robin holds a master’s degree in management of technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She earned her bachelor’s degree in engineering from Central Missouri State University. She also earned an associate’s degree in business from Maryland University – European Division (Cambridge University, United Kingdom).
