Ron Pitcock has been a technology entrepreneur for over 40 years. He is an innovative tech and operations leader known as a “catalyst” experienced in consulting, internet, satellite, cellular, cable, wireless, for-profit and nonprofits. He has a history of turning around marginal operations, streamlining domestic and global units, and significant increases in profitability and ROI. He is currently a Partner for CyberRisk Solutions, LLC, which serves private & public companies, government and education institutions.
In addition, Ron serves as a board member for Adaptive Spirits, a nonprofit trade association focused on building business relationships and effective networking practices in the cable television industry. He is also the Co-Chairman of the Academy of Model Aeronautics Foundation board, and a board member of the Society of Cable Television Engineers (SCTE) foundation board. He previously served as the SVP/GM of the Cable TV MSO group for Huawei Technologies.
During his time with Huawei, Ron was responsible for sales and marketing, daily business operations, technology, finance, human resources, and had full P&L control. Prior to Huawei, he was the CEO of Iptimize and Homesync. Additionally, he was the co-founder and President of High Speed Access Corporation (HSAC), a company designed to provide high-speed internet access via cable modems to residential and commercial customers in exurban areas for cable operators.
In 1999, Ron was recognized as a top 100 cable executive and is a Cable TV pioneer. He has an Associates of Arts degree from Texas Southmost College (UT), a BBA degree from the University of Corpus Christi (A&M), a Master of Telecommunications from Denver University, and a Doctorate of Business Administration from Jones International University.
