Mr. Starling currently operates as the Global Data Centre Service Manager at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore. Prior, he spent his previous 25+ years with IBM. His most recent role being a Delivery Executive, GTS Infrastructure Services, ASEAN located in Singapore. His role prior was as a Director, Global Transformation Executive for IBM, Germany. At this role, he provided executive leadership for private cloud enablement and transformation for global financial services interest. He led his team to develop and deploy private cloud infrastructure in multiple geographies.
An earlier role with IBM was Vice President, Integrated Technology Services Delivery North America. Here, he led a team of 1200+ IT professionals and vendor partners to consult, advise, develop, and deliver IT infrastructure transformation, deployment, and operations across many industries. Before this role, Mr. Starling held the position of Director, IT Infrastructure Service Delivery for three different IBM locations: IBM Czech Republic, Denmark, and South Korea. Here, he led teams of 900+, 1500+, and 200+ respectively.
Mr. Starling has held various other management positions over his time with IBM working in India, USA, and China. He earned his B.A. in Human Resources Management from Trevecca Nazarene University located in Nashville, Tennessee.
