Scott Reese is a recognized entrepreneur, innovator, and agency leader with a specialty in life-sciences. Mr. Reese is widely recognized within the health technology industry as an expert leader in the interactive experience designed to improve health. He has served in a variety of creative, innovation and strategy leadership roles with several Publicis Groupe agencies including Razorfish, Rosetta, Digitas Health and Saatchi & Saatchi. Currently, he serves a highly-specialized leadership role with a Microsoft and Accenture joint venture with his company Avanade, Inc.
In 2009, Mr. Reese founded Wool.labs, a leading text based, data analytics technology. The technologies he invented allowed companies worldwide to predict consumer behavior based on extractions of retroactive conversational data, market stimuli over time and if-then scenario mappings. The technology combines both language analytics and social cognition theory to understand why people believe and behave the way that they do. Under Mr. Reese’s leadership, Wool.Labs, in partnership with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and the University of California Davis, published the first ever peer-reviewed medical study using online patient communications and content analysis as primary evidence. This important 2013 study was published by Plos One and cited numerous times including by the Wall Street Journal. The firm was sold in 2014 to a global communications agency network.
Mr. Reese has presented to Congress and the FDA committee on social media and health informatics. He has served on the Global Envisioning Board for a publicly traded marketing organization and on the Marketing Innovations Board for a global pharmaceutical company.
Mr. Reese maintains an active ranch and farm in Southern Colorado with his family. They are active ethical humanists and members of the American Ethical Society.
