Jocelyn Greenky honed her craft from her days as a senior executive at some of the world’s biggest names in media and consumer goods such as Hachette Filipacchi, Philip Morris, and Wenner Media to co-founding and leading companies as CEO or COO such as the international design and event firm, Colin Cowie Enterprises, Sider Road Media and start-up BriteBean Technology.
Her interest in the workplace flourished during her days at Philip Morris, where she managed the highly respected Virginia Slims Women’s Opinion Poll. Ms. Greenky focused a significant portion of the poll on such workplace topics including career opportunity and challenges, the glass ceiling, leadership qualities, benefits, salary and gender bias.
Subsequently, after years of listening to many colleagues and friends talk about work issues and traumas, Ms. Greenky realized that the same questions, problems, and thus recommendations were becoming a case of déjà-vu-induced vertigo. She became utterly exasperated at the thought that there are millions of fabulous, smart, capable, and talented people and companies that are not finding satisfying and practical advice and answers.
Having found Ms. Greenky’s particular brand of down-to-earth straight talk “refreshing” and “life-saving,” friends and colleagues told their friends to call her, and in turn, those people told others. It started small, but over the years, her expertise has become revered and grown organically into her own thriving workplace consultancy practice, Sider Road Media. Her clients include The Wall Street Journal, D’Agostino’s, Coleman Research Group, Diversion Media, HBO, Preston Bailey, Sigmax Entertainment, DGSkincare, Publicis Advertising, and Burnham Securities.
In addition, Ms. Greenky is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer for BriteBean, a B2B technology built as a digital bridge connecting thousands of recipe websites, traditional brick and mortar grocers, and food delivery platforms. Her company’s technology allows consumers to purchase ingredients from online recipes directly from grocery partners.
Throughout her career, Ms. Greenky has provided mentorship to help tomorrow’s aspiring leaders achieve their full potential. She currently is a mentor with Women in Communications, Women’s Entrepreneur Network, Women in Technology and EverWise.
Prior, she was an AOL Coach and advisor with the Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program.
