Kathleen DuBois is an accomplished and innovative leader in marketing, fundraising and strategic planning specializing in transformational growth for nonprofits, academic and healthcare institutions and entrepreneur-owned corporations. She has an expertise in leading large-scale marketing and fundraising campaigns. She’s captured regional and national awards for creative design, digital media, and constituent engagement. She’s also served on Capital Campaign projects up to the $250M level.
Ms. DuBois is currently the Managing Director for Progressity, Inc. She drives high-level projects for 140+ corporate and nonprofit organizations in need of strategic planning, marketing, fund development and creative design services. With Progressity, she has designed and led the execution of many comprehensive marketing plans. She has directed campaigns for nine different organizations raising $75M+ over her time.
Ms. DuBois previously worked as the Chief Marketing Officer for Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. She directed and managed a 53-member leadership team while facilitating a comprehensive strategic plan and marketing campaign which led to a significant increase in revenue and customer satisfaction.
Prior, as Executive Director for Tech Foundation, Inc and Office of Alumni Relations in West Virginia, she led all facets of this academic foundation charged with raising philanthropic dollars for the West Virginia University (WVU) Institute of Technology and the Community & Technical College of WVU Institute of Technology.
Ms. DuBois earned her BS in Education and MA in Corporate and Organizational Communication from West Virginia University. She has also been an Adjunct Professor for her Alma Mater in the Department of Communication Studies.
Ms. DuBois is a certified leadership coach by the John Maxwell Company, coaching corporate and nonprofit executives across the U.S. She is a graduate of the Robert Morris College Management Leadership Certificate Program, graduate of Leadership West Virginia, and a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). She is also an avid volunteer and a published author (pictured right).
