Frank Johnson is a visionary leader that quickly grasps near-term initiatives and opportunities while foreseeing long-term opportunities and how to achieve them. He brings a unique blend of expertise in building and developing winning teams as well as building and scaling businesses. As Vice President and General Manager of Intel’s Americas Industry Sales Group, he leads a sales and marketing team comprising of direct and matrixed reports in North and Latin America, as well as covering global accounts and partners in EMEA and Asia.
Mr. Johnson helps companies in key vertical markets like finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail discover how technology can deliver value and competitive advantage. Since joining Intel as a field engineer in 1990, he has been actively involved in a massive technological shift from the early days of PCs and servers to the digital economy of today where technology has become not just a tool, but a truly pervasive strategic enabler for competitive advantage.
As Vice President and General Manager, Mr. Johnson has created a culture of growth-minded leadership that is entrepreneurial and self-starting. He has exceeded all revenue objectives and goals for 8 consecutive years including year-over-year growth in revenue, margin, market segment share, and application service providers (ASPs), while improving overall customer satisfaction.
Mr. Johnson earned his BS, Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Toledo. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.
