Doug Mazlish is a senior strategic alliance business development leader with extensive experience leading cross-functional initiatives within matrix organizations and developing high performing teams which consistently exceed stretch goals. His experience includes senior leadership within both large public organizations and venture-backed start-ups. He has an operational background across sales, channel, marketing, product management, corporate development, strategic planning, and engineering. His areas of expertise include global system integrator alliances, product marketing, high-performance team building, mergers and acquisitions/exit strategy, strategic planning, and product management.
Currently, Mr. Mazlish is the Vice President of Global Innovation Operations and Strategic Alliances for Pitney Bowes, Inc. Here, he has a global responsibility for strategic technical alliances across all of Pitney Bowes’ business units as well as Global Innovation Team (R&D) operations and communications. His team’s focus is on Internet of Things, Mobile, Big Data, Analytics, and Software as a Service partnerships.
Prior to Pitney Bowes, Mr. Mazlish spent 4+ years with CA Technologies, a public company providing IT management software to Global 2000 enterprises. While here, he operated as VP, Vertical Industry and Alliance Solutions and VP, Global Business Operations, Virtualization, and Automation. At the former position, he led a team responsible for CA’s global industry vertical solutions development and go-to-market initiatives. At the latter role, he was responsible for providing operational leadership across a business unit team focused on developing Cloud enablement solutions.
Before CA, Mr. Mazlish spent time with various Software Companies including Microsoft, Smarts, Whale Communications, along with others. With each of these companies, Mr. Mazlish led crucial initiatives while operating in a Vice President role. Mr. Mazlish also has garnered experience in the Telecommunications industry working for Citizens Telecom Inc. and Winstar Communications, Inc. The latter being a multi-billion dollar worldwide provider of Telecom, ASP, Internet, Web Hosting, and Media services to enterprise customers.
Mr. Mazlish earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. He also has his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University as well as his MBA-Finance from New York University.
