New Service for Senior Executive Alumni Interested in Board Directorships & Senior Operating Roles
This service to help our most senior alumni connect with opportunities is offered in partnership with Game Change Agency, which seeks to help the top leaders advance their careers by using the same talent agency model used by sports & entertainment stars.
Building on the over 50 events offered to Boston alumni as part of the Association’s Career Series events, we’re pleased to offer a new service for senior executive alumni interested in securing new networking and career advancement opportunities. Offered in partnership with Game Change Agency (GCA), opportunities include board directorships and full-time senior executive roles as well as advisory boards, consulting assignments, speaking engagements, and publishing and special initiatives.
Game Change Agency (GCA) is an invitation-only membership-based executive talent agency. The firm represents senior executives to help them connect with new opportunities, and also offers a members-only platform where top leaders can manage their careers and leading organizations can fill their human capital needs.
Executive members of GCA come from the private and public sectors across all industries and functional areas, having achieved mastery in their respective fields. They are typically at the pinnacle of their careers (e.g. C-Suite and senior executive roles), in post-retirement, or could be rapidly rising leaders of significant organizations – they are all game changers.
GCA offers their executive members the same agency model used by actors and athletes. GCA represents executive members (vs the hiring organization) as their client. Individual agents bring deep expertise across industries and functions, and work with executive members as strategic advisors and as ambassadors dedicated to advancing their members’ career objectives. There are no costs to executive members, no exclusivity agreements, and no binding commitments.
Members of GCA also receive access to GCA’s Talent Acquisition Platform (TAP). TAP is a digital marketplace designed to match a member’s career objectives with the hiring needs of relevant organizations. TAP enables executive members and subscribing organizations to swiftly research, identify, and connect with each other, and agents provide support to executive members throughout the entire process. Subscribing organizations include the Global 2000, Fortune 1000, and Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies across all industries, including the social and public sectors.
GCA seeks to transform the way the world recruits executives and has reimagined the recruiting experience to make it transparent and to put their executive members in control by seamlessly connecting professionals to opportunities at leading organizations through its agency and digital marketplace.
Application for executive membership to GCA is normally available only by invitation from current executive members. As part of the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association career partnership, GCA invites senior executive MIT Sloan alumni to directly apply.
