Andrea Fiumicelli is a business leader in the healthcare and life sciences technology industry with extensive experience creating, building and growing both large and medium-sized organizations. Currently leading a global top 10 healthcare and life sciences business providing integrated technology solutions, innovative software products and agile IT in over 30 countries. As a Vice President and General Manager for DXC Technology, Mr. Fiumicelli was appointed to lead the company’s global Healthcare and Life Sciences Organization following the merger of CSC and the Enterprise Services business of HPE.
Prior to his role with DXC Technology, Mr. Fiumicelli held the same position for CSC where he led a team of 3,000+ dedicated employees and leveraged CSC’s global people and technology resources. Before that role, he was Chief Operating Officer of CSC’s Healthcare and Life Sciences business.
Prior to CSC, Mr. Fiumicelli led the company iSOFT as Chief Operating Officer and eventually as Chief Executive Officer. At the latter role, he was appointed to turn around iSOFT’s global healthcare software business and provide a stable future. He led a major restructuring of operations, engineered the acquisition of iSOFT by SCS, and subsequently led the integration of iSOFT into CSC.
Mr. Fiumicelli has proven skills in establishing client-relevant value propositions, building strong relationships with customers and partners, leading complex technology organizations and delivering business results. He has significant experience in entrepreneurial business leadership, high-profile business turnarounds, mergers & acquisitions (including post-acquisition integration) and managing public companies.
His strong technical background developed from being originally trained in theoretical physics, with early career experience in artificial intelligence, software development, and solutions design.
