James M. Rallo, CPA has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Liquidity Services since February 2005, and he has been President of the company’s Retail Supply Chain Group since January 2014. While holding both positions, Mr. Rallo manages operations, marketing, e-commerce, and a sales staff of 500 across multiple locations globally while designing, implementing and monitoring solutions in the reverse supply chain for Fortune 1000 retailers and consumer goods manufacturers. He led the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) and Follow-on Offering initiatives.

Prior to Liquidity Services, Mr. Rallo served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Sleep Services of America. Here, he supervised 250 employees across 8 locations while designing, implementing and monitoring the company’s accounting, administrative and human resource policies and procedures.

Mr. Rallo served as Vice President of Deutsche Banc/Alex. Brown, Health Care Group before Sleep Services of America. Prior to that, he was an Audit Supervisor for Grant Thronton, and before, he was an Audit Senior for Deloitte and Touche.

Mr. Rallo holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He holds a BS from Washington and Lee University in Business Administration and Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and serves as a founding member on the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business Strategic CFO Roundtable.

He was recognized as CFO of the Year the Tech Council of Maryland in 2013 and by the Northern Virginia Technology Council with the Public Company CFO of the Year Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2009.

Mr. Rallo is currently an Advisory Board Member for the Williams School at Washington and Lee University. He is an Advisory Board Member for Reverse Logistics Association. He is also an avid volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and Catch-A-Lift Foundation which supports wounded veterans.
